IMPORTANT GRADE 12 INFORMATION:

  • GRAD TRANSITION CAPSTONE PRESENTATIONS- Grade 12’s, Graduation Transition Capstone Presentation sign-up sheets will be posted, outside the main office, TOMORROW, Wednesday April 3, 8:00 am until Friday April 5, 1:00 pm.  See Roxanne Boyko or Caitlin Ryan if you have questions.
  • GRAD YEARBOOK WRITE-UPSGrads your grad write-ups for the yearbook are due this week. Please submit your inspirational quote or message of appreciation by this Friday, April 5th. The link is on the school website and/or the Grad Facebook page.  Please, only appropriate submissions. If not appropriate, your submission will be replaced by an inspirational quote.  Take this time to be inspirational or thank your family for all of their support.

 

  • GRAD CLOTHING- yes Grad Clothing has arrived. Come to the atrium today at lunch to pick up your order.  If there are any grade 12’s who would like to help volunteer handing out the clothing, please come to the atrium 10 min before the bell, to help set up.

 

SKILLS CANADA PROVINCIAL-Would the following see Mr. White in room E108 at lunch today for Skills Canada Provincial competition information:  Heather Bray, Theo Christianson, Jacob Roseneau, Matthew Davies, Emily Heese and Danielle Svenson.

 

CANVAS PAINTING -All girls interested in the 6 week Canvas Painting Worship with Ms. Pond please meet today in the counselling area at lunch.

 

MATH CONTEST- A reminder to those students who signed up for the Waterloo Euclid contest to meet in room D211 TOMORROW at 8:30.  Please check in with your B Block teacher for attendance first. For those writing the VIU contest with Mrs. Jakobsen, come to D211 at the beginning of A block after checking in with your teachers.

 

FASHION SHOW FIELD TRIP-Attention textiles students past and present: The Fashion Show Field Trip is happening Thursday April 18! Any students interested in attending this field trip come see Ms. Williams at lunch time to pick up your permission forms.

 

CLUBS:

 

  • STUDENT COUNCIL– at lunch in Ms. Ryan’s room E211.

 

  • FASHION & DESIGN-The Fashion and Design Club Tuesdays at lunch in Portable 10. All students interested in learning about textiles, fashion and new sewing skills are welcome to attend.

 

  • BOARD GAME CLUB- in the Library after school 3:00pm – 4:00pm.

 

  • GRADE 8 & GRADE 9 GIRLS: meets every Tuesday at lunch in room D207. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Armstrong or see Ms. McKee.
  • E-SPORTS CLUB– If you are looking for a fun e-sports experience or just a chill grade 8 group to hang out with, the E-Sports club meets every Tuesday at lunch in room E101.

 

  • ELL CLUB- If English is your second language and you need help with your homework, come on out to portable 8 every Monday and Tuesday after school.

SPORTS:

  • SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER- Reminder to all Sr. Girls playing soccer this year that there is a practice today after school at 3:15.
