Do you like to travel? Do you like French food? Do you want to be able to speak another language? Then French 9 is for you! This course expands on and further develops the skills learned in French 8. Learn more about francophone culture and increase your ability to communicate in French through realistic scenarios and engaging cultural activities.

Did you love the Food Truck and music projects in French 9? Do you want to develop some useful travel vocabulary while continuing to learn more about and experience francophone culture? This course will help you to build your fluency and comprehension in French through practical and engaging activities.
Recommendation for French 10 is French 9

Look how far you have come!  You are now a senior French student.  At this point, you have developed some amazing vocabulary with an understanding of French verbs and francophone culture around the world.  Let’s build on that by learning to put those skills into practice. How about an authentic French restaurant experience right in your own classroom?

This is a time to celebrate all of the second language skills that you have acquired! Planning on travelling or working for the government? Learn about the opportunities to continue pursuing French outside of the classroom and refine your solid vocabulary and speaking skills. Develop a deeper awareness of the culture and diversity of French speaking countries and regions.
**Completion of this course gives a student entering a General Arts Program a language credit at some universities. The student may therefore not be required to take a first year university language course to satisfy their university graduation requirements.
