The Student Handbook specifies that students are advised not to bring valuables to school.
During instructional time students are not to use electronic devices without permission in instructional areas.
Electronic devices can be an interruption to academic learning in the classroom. Students should turn off electronic devices when they enter the classroom at Dover Bay. Failure to do so will result in having your electronic signal device taken away. It will be returned when parents/guardians and the student meet with a school administrator. These devices are absolutely prohibited.
Dover Bay Secondary is not responsible for electronic devices that are lost, stolen, or damaged while on school property.
We understand that there may be times when parents need to immediately contact their children. At Dover Bay it is always possible for parents to communicate with their children in an emergency. Please call the main office and we will help by summoning the student to the main office.
